Learning Journey - Chinatown & Central Fire Station

In conjunction with the Big Book titled

'The Chinese Opera Game',

pupils were fortunate to view the gallery at the Fire Station

and walk around in Chinatown,

getting a glance at the Chinese culture and clothing.

We are all ready to set off!

See how attentive the pupils are,

as they listen to their tour guide explain.

We are done with the gallery. Where is the bus?

Chinatown! Here we are!

Wow, looks like the items here are very cheap!

Let's stop and listen to the guide about the different religions in Singapore. Do you know where we are?

Did you guess correctly?

Yes, we are just near the Sri Mariamman Temple, at its reception hall.

Before continuing, let's take a break!

Arielle Ho is amazed with the crabs in the tank!

Finally, we get to quench our thirst, after a long walk. Some of us even got ourselves a souvenir!

Time for a toilet break ... in the Chinese Temple

This door is really big and heavy.

A final debrief before boarding the bus.

3 Cheers to these three beautiful parents for helping to make this trip pleasant and safe.

We also thank God for the fine weather.
