Learning Journey - Chinatown & Central Fire Station

In conjunction with the Big Book titled

'The Chinese Opera Game',

pupils were fortunate to view the gallery at the Fire Station

and walk around in Chinatown,

getting a glance at the Chinese culture and clothing.

We are all ready to set off!

The first activity for Jan 2011:

Chicken Rice Experience

*

The pupils were shown how to make chicken rice with the instant spice mix. After the rice was cooked, the pupils got to 'taste' the chicken rice, together with some pieces of cooked shredded chicken and salad

(which was ordered from the halal stall).
What an experience it was!
